Humbled and grateful to the school’s management for seeing us worthy of these positions, we are honored.
We are also immensely thankful to the student body for electing us into power.
“At times, our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person.
Each of us has a cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.” as said, Albert Schweitzer. We thank our outgoing prefects for their service to the school. As President Barack Obama said, “But while the means will change the purpose endures.”
I, therefore, speak for all prefects when I say we will not disappoint.
I will ensure that we make it a point to continue the good works of the outgoing prefects and work assiduously to improve existing projects and bring on board new ones to aid the school in its course of development in various sectors. We will make sure to put everyone to work and open doors of opportunity for the students to improve various aspects of our lives.
Barack Obama said, “now, more than ever, we must do things together as one people.”
The responsibilities do not lie on us alone as prefects but on every student of this noble institution. In order for us to move the school forward as we wish to see it in the near future if Rosa Parks was able to defy the odds, then yes, we can.
“No matter how far out our dreams are, it is possible.
The Head, teaching and non-teaching staff, and fellow students, “ the ultimate measure of a man, is not where he stands in moments of comfort but where he stands at times of challenges and controversy.”
THANK YOU !!!
